While traditional methods focus on the cognitive mind, true healing requires engaging the body where stress and trauma are physically stored.
Non-Verbal
Of trauma communication is non-verbal. Art bypasses the analytical mind to access deeper truths.
Nerve Endings
In the body. Somatic practices engage your entire nervous system for profound regulation.
Artistic Skill
Required. The focus is entirely on the process of expression, not the final aesthetic product.
Most people tap out at cognitive understanding because nobody ever showed them how to process the physical sensation. They stay stuck in loops — talking about the same issues for years. That's not healing. That's just management.
Understand exactly how trauma and stress are stored physically, and why traditional talk therapy sometimes isn't enough to release them.
Learn how to use simple art materials to give a voice to physical sensations and emotions that are difficult to articulate with words.
Participate in a guided, live somatic art exercise that you can take with you to regulate your nervous system anytime, anywhere.
Discover the framework for moving from a state of 'freeze' or 'fight/flight' into a creative flow state where true processing happens.
Learn to identify your unique nervous system triggers and how to use creative expression to bring yourself back to a window of tolerance.
Get the exact next steps on how to integrate these somatic practices into your daily life for sustained emotional resilience.
This isn't a course you forget about
Every person who walks into a therapist's office thinks they're joining a winning team. But many get stuck in a system designed to keep them talking forever. Here's the difference.
The Trap
You can only talk about the pain — analyzing it endlessly.
You rely entirely on cognitive understanding to heal.
If you ever leave, you often feel you're starting from zero.
Standard coping mechanisms that feel like a band-aid.
The system is built to keep you analyzing, not releasing.
The Blueprint
Bypass the analytical mind and engage the body directly.
Use creative expression to move stagnant energy.
Build a personal toolkit of grounding practices you own.
No artistic skill needed — the focus is on raw expression.
Your healing is tied to processing, not just talking.
Most programs put you in a passive model and call it "healing."
I teach you the somatic model — because that's the difference between
managing symptoms and actually releasing them.

Marka began her journey as an art therapist over 10 years ago, shaped by personal challenges like alexithymia, allergies, PCOS, eating disorders, and body dysphoria. These experiences, along with specialized training, led her to develop an integrative, body-oriented approach.
She uses tools like somatic art therapy, bilateral drawing, and phototherapy, weaving in mindfulness, shamanic journeys, and conscious movement. She also integrates clients' own practices—such as yoga, dance, qigong, or massage—supporting healing on all levels: body, mind, heart, and spirit.

Absolutely not. This is not an art class. We are using art materials as tools for expression, not to create a masterpiece. Stick figures, scribbles, and color blobs are perfectly fine and often the most effective.
Traditional therapy is primarily "top-down" (using the mind to understand the body). Somatic Art Therapy is "bottom-up" (using the body and sensory experiences to inform the mind). We focus on releasing stored physical tension rather than just analyzing the narrative.
Yes! While attending live is highly recommended for the experiential aspect, a recording will be sent out to everyone who registers within 24 hours of the masterclass.
Just bring yourself, a few sheets of blank paper, and whatever drawing materials you have on hand (crayons, markers, colored pencils, or even just a pen).
